Olocau del Rey is a beautiful village, in a region (El Maestrat) full of them. Bit was essential is that in these region lay some of the best motorbike riding roads of Spain. Be careful though, winter is cold there, and spots black ice may be lurking in the shadows. But yes, Olocau, Cantavieja, Mirambel are wonderful places which seem forgot by.

Located in the province of Castellón, Olocau del Rey is a tiny municipality defined by sights and stories that are steeped in history. Historically, the village was of strategic importance thanks to the nearby mountains that stand at over 1,000m above sea level. The Way of El Cid even passes through the village.

Olocau del Rey . This small ermita, or small church, is rectangular in shape and consists of one sole nave connected to the old graveyard. It was built in the 15th century; however in the 18th century it underwent changes and was re-covered with a brick vault split into two sections.
